BRANDON PFIZENMAIER
University of Nebraska-Kearney

Formerly of Clay Center High School, Brandon Pfizenmaier is one of this year’s KWCA College Senior Wrestler of the Year Award winners after a fantastic career at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

Pfizenmaier finished as a NCAA Division II national runner-up this past season, after posting a 31-4 season record and a Rocky Mountain West Regional title. He also placed first at the Dakota Wesleyan tournament, fourth at Omaha, first at the Hays tournament, and second at the Kearney tournament.

In his career, he finished with a total record of 99-23, winning two regional titles as well as being a three-time All-American. Pfizenmaier placed fifth in 2000, third in 2002, and second in 2003, all at 149 pounds.

At Clay Center High School, Pfizenmaier was a three-time state champion and named the 4A Senior Wrestler of the Year. He had a career record of 129-6.

He has plans to put his Construction Management major to use after completing an internship. He hopes to work in Eastern Kansas as a project manager for a construction company and hopefully be involved as an assistant wrestling coach.
