The Kansas City Star’s Marcus Fuller served as high school reporter this past year, providing several feature articles on wrestling teams and individuals in Johnson County. He also covered several tournaments, including the state competition. He wrote a weekly notebook in the Johnson County neighborhood news section as well.

Fuller received a B.S. degree from San Jose State University in San Jose, California. He worked as agate clerk and freelance preps reporter for the San Jose Mercury News prior to coming to Kansas City.

“I admire how wrestlers are able to gather themselves for an interview right after a competition despite being emotionally and physically exhausted,” Fuller said. “It makes my job much easier.”
