5A Senior Wrestler of the Year - 2005

Campus’s Josh Baldridge was voted by the 5A coaches as Senior of the Year after winning his fourth state title during his undefeated senior season, in which he also had an impressive 26 pins.

Baldridge won tournament titles at Campus, Bishop Carroll, Maize, Newton, Hays, Goddard, Regionals, and State. He was voted Outstanding Wrestler at Hays and at Regionals. He recorded 62 takedowns this year and had an :11 pin.

He was an All-American by placing third in Cleveland, Ohio, at the National High School Folkstyle Championships.

His career record was 137-5, winning titles at 112 pounds, 125 pounds, 130 pounds, and 130 again as a senior. He did not lose a match during his junior or senior years.

Baldridge is currently at Labette County Community College on a wrestling scholarship. He has plans to major in drafting.
