Kevin Hewitt of Beloit is one of three winners of the KWCA Official of the Year awards.

Hewitt has been a wrestling official for 27 seasons and was named the 2004 National Federation of High School Official of the Year for Kansas.

A graduate of Beloit High School in 1978, Hewitt has been involved in wrestling for many years. He placed third in the 2-1A State Tournament in 1974-75 and 195-76. He placed first in USAWF Kansas State in those years also. In the 1976-77 season, Hewitt was the 2-1A State champion and the USAWF Kansas State champion. He was first at USAWF Regional Nationals in 1975-76 and 1976-77. HE was a state champion in 1977-78, also.

Hewitt graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Education and received a M.S. in Adult & Occupational Education.
