Rick Rivera led his Andale High School wrestling team to a very impressive 4A state championship with a powerful squad that dominated the meet.

Rivera’s Andale squad took the 4A Regional and State title with numerous individual titles and placers.

At state in Salina, Andale scored 134 points, 51 points more than the second place team. Andale won three individual titles, and had one runner-up, one third- place finisher, and one fourth-place finisher.

Andale teamed up the the 4A Assistant Coach of the Year Tim Fisher to put together by far the most impressive squad in 4A this season.
