Osage County High School Athletic programs are fortunate to have Jeremy Gaston covering sporting events for the Osage County Herald-Chronicle.  He provides adequate coverage of wrestling tournaments and events throughout the season.

SFT Head Wrestling Coach Regan Erickson says, “We are lucky at Santa Fe Trail to have had good coverage of our wrestling program the last several years in the Osage County Chronicle.  Jeremy Gaston took it to another level 2 years ago to make it great coverage.  Jeremy covers all of our events and works hard to print accurate and up to date statistics, as well as other information that comes up throughout the year.  I am happy to say that SFT wrestling is a WELL covered wrestling team!”

Gaston worked at the Coffey County Republican for two years as sports writer and photographer and has now is sports editor at the Osage County Herald-Chronicle for two years.

While working for the Coffey County Republican, Jeremy won the 2005 KWCA Media of the Year award.

“Like all sports, wrestling coverage is at its best when writers, photographers, coaches, parents, and principals, athletic directors and athletes do their part,” Gaston said.
