Air Force 2nd Lieutenant and United States Air Force Academy graduate Jake Kriegbaum has accomplished a lot in his wrestling career.  This past season Kriegbaum was named the Falcons’ Outstanding Wrestler and the United States Air Force Acacemdy Athletic Department Outstanding Wrestler.  In his senior season Kriegbaum was 25-13 and won 16 straight matches.  He won the West Regional, was named the Outstanding Wrestler and became an NCAA Division 1 qualifier.

Kriegbaum’s career was highlighted by three trips to the NCAA Division 1 tournament and a record of 91-62.  He was named Outstanding Wrester in 2005-06 and 2007-08, and was named Outstanding Freshman Wrestler in 2004-05.

At Abilene High School Kriegbaum was a four time North Central League Champion and High School State Champion.  His high school record was 127-3.  In 2002 he was a Cadet All-American and in 2003 he was a Junior All-American.

Kriegbaum will be stationed as a 2nd Lieutenant at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska and will be assigned to the 55th Contracting Squadron.
