6A Senior Wrestler of the Year - 2008

Nathan McCormick capped off a great career at Blue Valley North High School with his second state championship.  In his senior season he won seven tournaments, was a 6A Regional Wrestler of the Year, the Johnson County Classic Outstanding Senior Wrestler, and finished with a record of 43-1.

 McCormick’s career at BVNHS was just as impressive.  He was a four-time state qualifier, three-time finalist, and two-time state champion.  He was a three-time regional and EKL champion.  His career record was 153-25. Academically Nathan had a 3.8 GPA and was a member of the Principal’s Honor Roll.

McCormick will be attending the University of Missouri on a wrestling scholarship and plans to major in business with an emphasis in management.
