Rossville High School’s Duane Zlatnik capped off a tremendous high school career with his third state title in three years.  Zlatnik finished his senior year with a 44-1 record, nine tournament championships, a state record for most team points with 316, and was named All-State Academic Honorable Mention.

Zlatnik’s wrestled all four years at heavyweight.  He finished with a record of 148-18.  He was Mid East All-League all four years.  Zlatnik also excelled on the football field where he was Mid East All-League 3 years, All-State Class 321A 2 years, and All-State Top 11 as a senior.

Zlatnik will play football for the University of Kansas and major in Education.
