USA Wrestling wants to be sure that their NCEP database of certified coaches contains current information.  Click here for the form to submit your current address information.
  

Coaches are required to complete a background check every two years.  Before issuing a current coaches' card, your club will require you to provide proof that you have passed the background check.  The cost of the background check is $17.  Here are the instructions on what you need to do to complete your background check:

Go to https://www.themat.com/membership

2.

Sign in or create a new account.  Your club director can give you your user id and password if you were a member coach last year.

3.

Under "Note 1", click on the link to start the background check.  If you do not see "Note 1,"click 'Profile' in the upper right corner of the screen and click 'BG Check History' near the top of the screen.  Please note that you will be required to use a different user id and password in the background check website - do not try to use your USA Wrestling user id and password.

4.

After completing the background check, do not attempt to purchase a membership online.  This feature is disabled for Kansas coaches.

5.

After the background check is complete you will receive an email notice indicating whether or not you have successfully passed the background check. Provide this confirmation notice to the club director, who will then be able to purchase your coaches' membership from the state office.

   

Need a replacement card?  The cost of a replacement card is $7.50.  Please click here to submit your payment.  Once you have submitted your payment information, you will automatically be redirected to the Coaches Certification Card Replacement page.  Upon receipt of your request, your level of certification will be confirmed and your replacement card will be sent out.  Please expect two to three weeks before you will receive your new card.
