Wrestling to host dual on Friday

LINDSBORG, KAN., January 28, 2013— The Bethany College wrestling team will host Benedictine College in a dual beginning at 7 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 1, in Hahn Gymnasium.

Benedictine College is in their inaugural season while Bethany is in its second. Bethany is 3-1 in dual meets thus far.

The night promises to be full of excitement! Bethany students will receive free pizza. You can enter a chance to win a Martinelli's gift card and there will be a free-will donation drawing for mat side couch seating. There will also be a tug of war contest at the halfway point.

Martinelli's Little Italy of Salina is sponsoring the dual and will provide free food for parents, alumni and fans of Bethany wrestling afterward.

Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for those under age 18 and senior citizens. All high school, club wrestlers and coaches get in free. You can watch it live via iHigh on Bethany's athletic website.


The Bethany College Swedes compete in 18 intercollegiate sports in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
