You can take TJ Lorson off the rankings for 171. And I apologize to everyone for making a case to get him on the rankings earlier. He has decided a job is worth more than a State Championship, and did not come out for wrestling. I wish it were not so, but that was his decision.

If I were doing the All Class Rankings I would make a note that Mitchell Means from Goddard won the 135 lb. weight classification at the 2007 Toshiba Business Solutions Midwest Wrestling Classic last weekend in Kansas City and also wrestled at 135 lbs. in the Goddard vs. McPherson dual last night.

I was waiting to see if Mitch was staying there. I saw the TBSMWC brackets and after last night, I'll move him to 135.

You can remove Jaden Bird from these rankings. Jaden is not wrestling this year.

About 112....

Deshazer, Callahan, Slyter and Stokes. On any given Saturday, you could end up seeing these guys in any order. I realize that Junction City showed us some things about three of them. In this case, I have put more emphasis on "in season" folkstyle criteria as opposed to June freestyle and greco results. If I had any other order, it would still leave some valid second guessing. Hopefully we will see some clashes with these tough kids soon!

At the frontier league, you will see Stokes, Callahan, and Slyter, all in the same bracket. That looks to be awesome, the only way you could better that is to throw in someone like Wood, or weller.... Cause someone is going to have a tough semifinals match.

The only logical explanation is the 4A ranker and the All-Class ranker are two different people. The Bobcat should clear that weight up a bit.

I see where he beat Ruiz 6-5. Did he wrestle at the BC tournament? Ruiz is also not ranked at All-Class 103. Does he have current year history with any of those top 6?

First off DARRIN is a senior,he did not wrestle at BC,I believe he was sick,he did win 6-5 over ruiz ot C.C but was in control of that match and gave up some cheap pts at the end,he is a true 103,this is the first year I believe he had to cut little to get there, small kid,but to not include him in overall rankings is a mistake but everyone has a opinion, curious what other 103 lb in 4a think is person to beat

I believe the Chief has listed Ornelas and Moeder, both 4A 103. Moeder already owns a win this season over Antilon the '07 321A State Champ. I think Stroot might have been overlooked because he wrestled some 112 and Colton Eck was 103 for Andale early on. There are over 150 103lbers out there so it takes some time to sort out the best.

As you wrote this, I was looking at the results from SS. I saw where Jacob beat Crank. Nice win!

I'm sure that Lucas would like to take credit for his brother's
win, but Jacob was the one who wrestled the match.
