Pratt High School, a 4A school located an hour west of Wichita, is seeking a Varsity Head Wrestling Coach. The successful candidate will be in charge of implementing a comprehensive 7-12 program that will wrestle varsity matches in a brand new 1,800 seat gymnasium which is part of a new school scheduled to be completed for the 2008-2009 school year — complete with a new wrestling facility adjacent to the gym.

The comprehensive program will consist of Varsity, Junior Varsity, and a combined 7th and 8th Grade team which will compete interscholastically. The Pratt community boasts two outstanding kids'-club programs and has a rich tradition of wrestling qualifying 18 wrestlers for state in the past two seasons. Additionally, the AD is a former wrestling coach as well. Candidates with prior high school head coaching experience are preferred. Potential teaching positions are yet to be determined.
