National High School Senior Championships
Coach's Information

Key Points:

1. Call (913 888 8630) or e-mail (celvin@everestkc.net) as soon as you know your wrestler is qualified (preferably Saturday morning of the state tournament weekend) and no later than Sunday 3/1/09.
2. The flight leaves Kansas City on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 (meet and park in space to be determined later - maps will be provided).  We will return on Monday, April 6, 2009.
3. Your wrestler has a bio sheet and payment sheet that must be returned along with a $300 payment per person by 3/5/09.  Please note - this is after the notification by 3/1 due in #1 above.
4. Most towns, booster clubs, civic groups, etc. are happy to assist in funding the wrestler as well as you and his parents.
5. There is no wiggle room on the dates – so please respond as soon as possible.

This prestigious event includes over 800 elite wrestlers from 48 states and showcases some of the finest high school wrestling you’ll ever see.  Nowhere else are all competitors at the top of their respective groups at the same age.  In last year’s NCAA Division I Championships, 9 of the 10 Champions, 17 of the 20 finalists and 80% of the All-Americans competed in the NHSCA HS Seniors Championships when they were seniors.  Kansas is proud to have had 75 All-Americans during the first 19 years and plans to add more this year.  Come along with us and share in this great experience.

The costs this year are expected to be around $580 per coach, plus additional money for meals, souvenirs or any other purchases.

Unpaid amounts for all orders of shirts, coach’s membership and USA cards are also due March 20.

We’ll fly out of Kansas City Wednesday (April 1st, 2009) and cannot return till Monday (April 6th, 2009) because the finals are Sunday night.  Come along with us and share in this great experience.
