I don't disagree that Hemmerling won the match decisively (sp), but the fact that Carroll was going for his 3rd title and Hemmerling had never placed before makes it a pretty big upset. Throw in to the mix that Hemmerling needed to win to win the team title for Hutch and I think it makes it a pretty remarkable upset.

Vest did have mono bad and was semi unconiscious most of the match) Don't make excuses, it takes away from the winner of the match. If he was too sick to be on the mat he should not have been there.

I wasn't making excuses I have no reason too I was just simply stating that it was a huge upset and he had beaten him 3 times earlier in the year besides he went on to win the national title his frosh year in college so no excuses but lets not not get too arrogant what have most of us done compared to someone like that?

If it is not an excuse then there is no upset, I could beat Cael Sanderson if he was semi unconsious most of the match. Ok that may be a little arrogant but I sure wasn't in the last post.
