DUBUQUE, IOWA - Wartburg College won its 13th consecutive and 23rd overall Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) wrestling Championship Thursday at Loras College behind the performances of six individual champions and two runners-up. Wartburg senior Dustin Hinschberger (Belle Plaine, Iowa/Belle Plaine) was named Dick Walker Outstanding Wrestler. The top-seed at 141-pounds went 3-0 with two major decisions and a technical fall. He defeated Dubuque's Ben Swan, 14-1, in the quarterfinals and 2004 Outstanding Wrestler Dustin Brewer of Simpson, 10-2, in the semifinals. meister,
he was back home for a while, but I guess something deep inside him told him to go back and so now he is, and it's great for Kansas wrestling.

Simpson College is a great place to go, We attend wreslting camp there every summer and enjoy wrestling with college wrestlers during the sessions and what not, Manny is a very tough wrestler and a good guy, nice to see a Kansas kid prevailing....

Simpson is graduating the bulk of their team this year, i wouldn't be surprised to see some of the younger teams in the conference to take it to them next year.
ENJOY!!!

Matt was at 321A state and was a frequent visitor to our wrestling room before Christmas. He has the strongest tight waist I have ever personally felt and is incredible on top! He just loves to wrestle, he was working out the enitre time he was not watching matches in Hays, I believe at least 2 times each day for an hour. And no he has not broken-up with his girlfriend, she was also there to cheer on his little brother Jason to a State title this year at 130pds. Good luck Matt and thank you for all you did this year for me and the Sabetha team! Coach Brown

Coach Brown,
I regret that statement written earlier. I have nothing but respect towards the whole Pyle family, including his g/f. He had told this summer that he was moving back to Manhattan to be closer to family and friends. I spoke on this thought that things did not work out between them. I should not have said anything! And congratulations on the state title and team performance at state.

Aaron it is ok, I was not being crass I was just letting you know it was not over between them. It was a pleasure to meet you this last weekend and keep up the hard work at Ft Hays. I will be looking for good news about your success in the upcoming years. And I hope you get your picture on the All-American side of the wrestling room someday! Tell Bickley I said hello and wish I could have seen him last weekend. It sounds like he had a succesful weekend as well! Coach Brown

Coach Brown,
Oh my name is on that wall (4th) but I plan on getting another number under it (1) and a team championship hopefully.
