So are you saying "Big Steve" pulled off the victory for the team win? If so that is the total package for Team Tango.

http://themat.com/pressbox/pressdetail.asp?aid=10199 Pennsylvania Chicken Tenders beat Missouri, 50-28, to win Schoolboy Freestyle Duals and sweep both styles 6/13/2004 Gary Abbott/USA Wrestling The Pennsylvania Chicken Tenders defeated Missouri, 50-28, to claim the team title at the National Schoolboy Freestyle Duals, held in Indianapolis, Ind. It was the second team title for the Pennsylvania Chicken Tenders for the weekend. The team claimed the Greco-Roman title on Friday, with a 50-29 win over Minnesota in the gold-medal round. A total of 24 teams entered this dual meet competition, representing their USA Wrestling state associations. Schoolboys are age 13-14. On behalf of the 23 schoolboy wrestlers who went to Indiana to represent Kansas in the National Schoolboy duals and their coaches; Charlie Knox, Todd Napier and Mike Brown, I would like to extend a thank you to USA Wrestling of Kansas for given these wrestlers a chance to compete in this tournament. I apologize for not providing an update after each session like the guys do for Cadet/Junior duals and Fargo. I used to get frustrated when those reports didn't come in quick enough but now I understand why. These duals are grueling! In summary I beleive are team did very well. We won the consolation bracket in Greco and were runner up in the same bracket in Freestyle. Overall we wrestled a total of 18 duals. Our dual record when all the dust cleared was 13 wins and 5 loses. It was great to see the wrestler come togther as a team and pull for each other. We had high moments as a team such as beating Illionis by one point in the final second of the semi finals. And we had low points such as losing to Missouri in freestyle when we had beat them in Greco. I believe that this was a very positive exp for the boys. I would like to see Kansas send a team every year. Again, thanks to the members of USA Wrestling of Kansas and the State body for allowing us to go to these event.

All the Kansas wrestlers at Schoolboy Nationals competed extremely hard. I was very proud to take all these boys to the National Duals to represent Kansas. Many made contributions that can't be measured by victories such as scoring valuable points even in defeat, facing a tough opponent at a weight thus enabling us to us another wrestler at a different weight and etc... A few of our guys have been honored by being named to the National Duals "All Tournament" team. Here is an part of the announcement from USA Wrestling:
All-Tournament Team from the National Schoolboy Duals 6/16/2004 Ted DeRousse/USA Wrestling
The following wrestlers were undefeated in their competition, and qualified for the All-Tournament Team at the National Schoolboy Duals in Indianapolis, Ind.
75 GR Sharky Slyter KS
120 FS Ryan Patterson KS, Sam Thoman KS
125 FS C J Napier KS
130 FS Ryan Patterson KS
185 GR Atticus Disney KS
250 FS Steve Andrus KS,
Congrats to these guys on earning this distinction.
