TOHK will begin to practice freestyle and greco on March 7 at 5:00pm at West High these practices will be open to all(you must have a USA card). These practices will be offer through out the month of March every Tuesday's.

Freestyle and Greco has begun with TOHK we will be practing once again on Tuesday at West High at 5:00pm. Get a jump on freestyle with the new rule changes this can only help.

Coach Knox, A parent called me and asked where would a good club be for his son to go freestyle... He has only wrestled one year, his first year being highschool. So I had no good answer because I don't really know what different clubs are looking for as far as numbers goes, experience etc. I know it would be nice to go somewhere as close to home as possible but everyone I know will drive for a good coach. Could someone please put up some phone numbers or e-mail contacts for theese parents who don't know, it might help.

Can I get your opinion. My 8YO wants to freestyle this year. He is addicted to the sport, but has issues with the change from Novice to Open. Trust me it is all mental. When he thinks an opponent is weaker, the match is never close. If he knows a kid is good, he shuts down. I know from personal experience, this is wrestling. Do you think there are enough 8 year olds in the Johnson County area at tourneys that will give him good match experience, or is he going to face the kids with 4 years under their belts? What clubs are availble in this area?
