I need to call Mayab or Haggerty and find out if and when there are any freestyle tourneys in March? I think Liberty has one the 2nd or 3rd week in March, anybody heard of anything???

Coach Peterman

I have been looking at websites and called a few people but nothing yet.

OLATHE FREESTYLE CLUB

We are in the works of getting an Olathe Freestyle Club going with brothers Chad Butler (Ft. Hays State/Olathe East) and Adam Butler (Central Missouri State/Olathe East) running it. Hopefully we can have information to hand out to coaches by this weekend at State.

Peterman are you going to be coaching some of the East Kansas practices this year with mr. Budd, or whats the deal this year on coaching staff and prac. locations for East kansas club. those of us that just didn't do too hot at regionals are a little upset about it and want to do something about that this year and want to make sure that we go to the right freestyle/greco club to get the best coaching possible

There will be freestyle practices at Bishop Miege HS and Saint Thomas Aquinas HS in Kansas City. I think Basehor will be having practices too with Travis Phippin. I'm also hoping to get duals or open room nights setup so all the kids can train together. If anyone needs information, please drop me an email at gmedina@bluechipathletic.com.

Thanks,
Gonz

Does anyone have a time that practices will start and a date that they will start at either Matside, East Kansas (BVNW) or Aquinas/Miege and what age groups will be at practices?

Also what coaches will be at the different locatios?

East Kansas will practice on Tuesday and Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00 and have open mat on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30. At East Kansas we will have Tom Budd a little bit, Tom Peterman and Back East Joe, can't think of his last name right now but the kids know who he is and he knows his stuff!!!, while being a great workout partner for some of the better kids. We will begin next Thursday the 10th after the Metro classic. Practices will be at Blue Valley Northwest.

Coach Peterman

PS>
Come on over any time Strohm there will be plenty of kids to roll around with and love to give the kids different ways of hitting moves. Or just the different terminology. More coaches better one on one teaching which never hurt nobody.

Strohm,

We will be at Miege on Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7:15 until the end of the kids season. After that, we will be going Tues. and Wed. at Miege and Monday and Wednesday at Aquinas. Cost is $30 plus USA Wrestling card, so I think we'll be pretty packed. I talked to Eric and a few other people about trying to line up duals for the kids. With the rule changes, I think it would really help! Hope to see you there.
