Hey all you lovers of girls wrestling! Exciting things are happening. We are planning an awesome trip to the Body Bar Nationals in Colorado Springs, CO. We will travel to arrive well before weigh in on Friday, May 5, 2006 and stay until all wrestling is finished on Sunday, May 7th. We are planning a charter bus to start in the NE KS area, travel down HWY 75 to Fort Scott and then over to Wichita, then Garden City and then Colorado Springs. We will pick up wrestlers, coaches and family along the way. I hope my biggest problem is not enough room on the bus!!!!!!!!! Did everyone know that the tourney is at the US Olympic Training Center? This is an awesome place. Also, there is a camp the week before on site if anyone is interested. I have ordered the singlets and they ROCK! If you have checked the boys website and seen the KS Whizzers of OZ singlets then you can see some of the design but ours will have red down the sides and trim and the other one will be blue (for FS). These are being worked on now. Ours say Kansas Krusaders on the back. The max price is $60 each but we have people working on sponsors and this will go directly to lower the costs to the girls. I have someone in the NE working on a bus and they think they can get it donated for us, again, if this happens, then the singlets can be almost free! If you know of someone with a business that would like to donation to the Kansas Krusaders and this trip, please let me know right away. Also, if you are interested in going, I need to start taking reservations for the bus and hotels. The bus will be on a first come, first served basis. The trip is for sure and will not be expensive. I am sorry I don't have firm numbers right now but it is for a very good reason--people are donating STUFF! The more we get donated the less you have to pay. If you know your family wants their own room, let me know so I can put it in your room. Hotel rooms are around $100 for 4 people for the two nights. That's only $25 each and you get breakfast, indoor pool and internet. There are lots of things in the area and a tour of the OTC is very exciting, we did it a few years ago and it really got my boys fired up about wrestling. We will have to do special papaework for the OTC to be on site soooooooooo, I need to know in the next 2 weeks if you are in for the trip. I will get the pricing together and then you will pay by the time we leave on the trip. There will be bags, t shirts, warmups, beanies and blood rags. The clothing package will be available to the girls on the trip first and then other KS girls after that. I am very excited about this trip and I want you girls to get excited too. Please email me the number of people going and you phone, email and age and weight. We will have to get paperwork in in the next two weeks so don't wait. Ask your parents now. Call or email or post with any questions. Ms. Jenni and Coach Ed We will be at Univ NE Omaha this weekend for the Brute Adidas Nationals and to tour the university. If you need us call 316-259-5399

Congrats, looks like everyone represented and started off a progression of excellence. Hope you all are working hard. All you high school girls have another chance to represent the great state of Kansas at Fargo in only a couple months! I would suggest going for a jog and getting a few other workouts per week. Wrestling is the best way to get in shape for the tournament, but a run helps as well! Great job girls and great job coaches! I'm back in KS and would love to help out with people working out. Let me know if you need anything.

Brooke, You are busted now. We will plan on practicing somewhere every week in June and July. Taking a couple of weeks off and then we are going to get those HS girls ready for Fargo. For those of you that don't know--always wrestling is Brooke Bogren, one of the premier girl wrestlers from KS. She has just finished at Mo Valley and she will be one of our coaches for the National Team to go to Fargo. If you are in HS and want to be a part of this team. All it takes is a phone call or email or PM and you can get connected. We have some awesome singlets and a great week of wrestling planned.
Let's make this the best HS girls National Team EVER!
