Ok, Girl Wrestlers...we are making the final preparations for Fargo. If you are not signed up and plan to go or want to go or want more info. You need to call or email ASAP. We will be departing on Saturday, July 22, 2006 and traveling to Fargo. We will have Sunday to rest up and make weight. Monday and Tuesday will be the individual competitions. Tuesday night and Wed will be the Duals. We will start home on Thursday am and be back in your own bed on Thursday night, July 27th. This will be a great opportunity for HS girl wrestlers to showcase themselves for the college coaches. All the colleges with womens programs will be in attendance. If you are serious about women's wrestling you need to consider this trip.

Jancey and I are really sorry that we can't go this year. We really appreciate all that you do for girls wrestling. It seems summers get busier and busier. We played softball down in Independence this summer and she got the opportunity to play on the all-star team so we are doing the softball thing. It would be nice to be able to pick one sport and specialize in that but that is the advantage of a small school and the disadvantage, you play a sport every season. Softball was more convient, this year. I do love watching the wrestling and what an opportunity to go to Fargo and Nationals. Good luck everybody and enjoy it.

Well, the Girls Competing at Fargo are all checked in and getting on weight and ready to go. The numbers are down for Kansas but the Wrestlers that have made the trip are ready to go and have the ability to do well.

Randi Beltz 128-Previously from Kansas but now from St; Louis, MO (since MO doesn't have a Women's team or any wrestlers, she is allowed to and has requested to represent KS with us)

Cherasa Leak was registered but she has a badly strained shoulder from tryouts at the USOEC in MI, thus she had to remain at home to cheer everyone on.

We will not be competing as a state team in the duals, for obvious reasons. Some of girls may be picked up by Development Teams, if possible.

Anyway, we look forward to representing KS and hope to bring home some hardware.

Great job!! Keep up the good work. Jancey's team is playing in the midwest regional (they won state Babe Ruth)but my thoughts are with you guys.

Weell, as you probably already know...Chandra and Beth had to wreslte each other to stay in...Beth won.
Randi and Beth will wrestle each other for 3rd and 4th. Overall, a great showing for KS girls. Thanks to everyone for all your support.
