Semis to look forward to:
Blackburn/Snider at 125 - winner gets Caldwell
Servin/Schridde at 135 - winner gets Fisher
Kolmer gets :07 pin in first round at 189
Why is Beard listed at 15-0 when he lost in the dual?

Why is Beard listed at 15-0 when he lost in the dual? Tournament entries and records were prior to the dual.

Anybody know who is in the finals at 189? That is the only bracket that is not showing up.
Semi-finalists (w/o 189):
PON - 6 (One vs. Goddard at 125) GODD - 4 AND - 3 GB - 2 RR - 2 DER - 2 LIB - 2 EMP - 2 GC - 1 CR - 1 SC - 1 HAY - 1 ULY - 1

Again to Kolmer fine job! Heckel vs. Kolmer will be a good technical match that will come down to conditioning and pure desire to win. I would like to think there would be a difference in the 215# bracket, and by no means taking anything away from the young men who are wrestling. This bracket is missing 3 that I know would of changed the outcome. Tyler Downs from Derby, James Sparks from Emporia, and Howard Johnson from Great Bend. Johnson, and Downs out with season ending injuries, Sparks I heard however will be back by 2/10. Any other brackets missing top ranked wrestlers that may of had different outcomes?

Derby's Eric Horton at 189 is out...he had a fantastic summer going 5-2 at the Super 32 challenge and really opening eyes of college recruiters. He apparently has decided to quit the wrestling team to pursue other interests. As dissappointing as that is, I wish him the best in whatever it is he is after.

I think Eric has come back on the team. He is out here with the team at Garden City, but isn't competing this weekend. The team can use his senior leadership heading into the run for state. I’m glad (hope) to see him back.
