Good Aaron. Mine would have asked, are you a warrior or miss congeniality? But that was 40 years ago. I guess times have changed.

any one know what time finals start?
Thanks
and as for the kid not wrestling because he's up for homecoming.. it makes me question what our world has come to where a popularity contest takes precedence over a wrestling tournament..
Oh snap.

I've been a Homecoming King at Butler Community college, and Mr. UCO and never did any of that interfere with my obligations of classwork or my scholarship activity I was at the school on. Sad.

Once again, we are all on here questioning why a high school kid is doing something. I know most of us wouldn't give up a tournament to be a homecoming candidate, but there is usually more to the story than gets posted on here. Everyone has the right to question whatever they want to. That's what makes this country great. What kills us is judging people without knowing all of the facts. I don't know why Ben did this, but I do know that Ben Evans is a state champion and Coach Garcia is one of the most respected coaches in the state. With a track record like his, it's really difficult to question decisions he is part of. Well, except for his choice in a particular assistant coach. Anyone know if Ben won?

If you are going to question someone, question the administrators who allowed homecoming to be scheduled on a tournament weekend. We have at times had the same problems with our administration allowing school dances to be scheduled when our wrestlers were at tournaments. For that matter, how come homecoming can't be on a Thursday night during a duel?

onthemat, I am very sorry for that. I thought I was just posting "in general." It was not directed at you or anyone in particular. I get frustrated when wrestling people put down other wrestlers. We need to promote our sport every chance we get.
Have a good one, Ryan

Yeah, that was pretty dumb to say that Hynick hasn't been tested....

We don't have a Winter Homecoming in Chapman, but Senior Recognition for all Sports is done on at the last home wrestling meet always.
