For the team race I think it comes down to Wichita Independent, Burlington, and Eureka. Should go down to the wire with these three.

It'll be a close one. It would've been Eureka instead of Burlington at TVL if only they had a heavyweight.

I see on the regional link that Nick Thibault-145lb (Halstead) is not listed as wrestling. I think he was having some back problems late in the year....Is that why he's not wrestling? I think he could have been a 4X qualifier since he's only a freshman.....That's too bad.

Yea, the word from the seeding meeting was that he fractured a bone in his back.

Ouch...I believe he wrestled with the injury at least a couple of matches. You would hope he didn't make it any worse by wrestling after the initial injury. It's always a fine line between wrestling (or any sport) with the pain or knowing when to shut it down before it gets worse. Everyone has aches & pains but no one wants to be a whiner. I hope he has a full recovery!
