Why be evasive? Unlike Supreme Court Judges, a varsity spot is not a life time appointment. There is some movement on most varsity teams due to challenges, injury, behavior. Just answer the question or don't respond.

You know,it is possible that a varisty wrestler has become injured or ill and can not wrestle and this person is simply asking the names of the wrestlers that'll be representing Derby. It is also possible that oldyeller is from the Topeka area and not up to speed as the varsity team of Derby! I would look for the Varsity line-up to be pretty much back to normal. As most teams, you have a few that have been nursing injures & sickness. But at last report all are rested and ready to rock. I will say that the JV wrestlers have stepped in very nicely this season. So no matter who shows up – I would look for a hard effort from all. Good luck to all!!!

Does anyone know who will be wrestling 189 from Derby? I have seen results from both Cole Carpenter and Eric Horton this season. I think Eric will be wrestling. Cole & Eric had challenge matches this week. From what I was told they were good matches, but Eric edged Cole out for the spot. Cole has done well this year and is coming on strong. He should be a good addition to the Varsity squad with Eric being a senior.
