Maybe the flu or something!? Lots of it going around. 3rd at state last year. Not going this year. Man, bummer. Thankfully he is only a JR and therefore, hopefully will come back strong for his senior year.
When i was in HS, we had a guy that took 2nd in the state his JR year. His only loss on the year being in the state finals. His senior year he DID NOT make it to state. That was weird.

The 135 pound bracket at Baldwin was really crazy. In the semi-finals, all matches were decided by one point. In the finals, same thing. It was the draw of the luck in determining who is was going and who was staying home. Everyone wrestled really hard. Good luck to everyone at State.
