I was trying to get an idea on how many Kansas wrestlers are planning on going to Virginia Beach for the Freshman, Sophmors Junoirs and Senoirs. If there is enough parents and wrestlers going we might think about getting a big bus?

Aldon ... congrats on the State title!

And, how deep is that gene pool? :-)

Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?

I do not like to fly unless I am going from one Land mass to another. I am open to suggestions just wanted to get the interest up for the young men who are going to wrestle in college the best access to as many college coaches as possible. We have many many wrestlers in Kansas who deserve to wrestle in college and have the ability to do so.

That sounds like a blast to go to. When is the event? Also for Seniors that didn't "qualify" by finishing in the top 2 at state in their career, you can petition to be included like Dante Rogers of Wich NW did last year and have a chance of still making an impact and All Americaning.

This is a great opportunity to be seen by college recruiters, especially if you are an underclassman, or a senior that has yet to get that offer you might be looking for.

Thanks for the link.
Do you have any open seat in the bus or short bus?
Who is going to coach the wrestlers?
Is this the week after kids state and the week before Brute nationals at KCI.

Your welcome.
As a matter of fact we do have open seats.
The bigger showing of Kansas college prospects the bigger the draw for kansas wrestlers.
As far as coaches not sure One thought is to let the wrestlers coach themselves or each other.
yes it is between those two tournaments.

I'm an oldtimer but not sure how far I'm going to run,
I know this these young Wrestlers that don't go, they will someday very soon will wish the would have gone. Ther are not very many days left in there careers and once its gone its gone.
my suggestion is that they live it now because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

I heard that Jaime Hosfelt from Marysville was going to attend. Good Luck to all the wrestlers that do attend.
