I've seen listed on this site under "camps/clinics" a wrestling clinic on a cruise ship in July this year. I think that sounds fun and will probably end up saving money by combining a family vacation on a cruise with a wrestling clinic. I have taken my family on a cruise before and it was a great time and the costs are very good because all your food and the entertainment on the ship is included in the price. Pat Smith and Shane Roller are doing the clinic. I've heard good things about both of them. Has anyone ever attended a clinic by either of them?

I have talked to the lady who is in charge of this cruise. She said she thinks it will sell out within the next week.

I am Kristy the travel agent sponsoring this wrestling clinic at sea. We are a wrestling family - we have two boys that wrestle in Kansas. We thought that combining a family vacation with a wrestling clinic would be a neat idea and spoke with several other wrestling families and they did too. It just makes sense since allot of families send their children off to a camp and and take a family vacation within the same summer. We just combined the two. It not only saves valuable time, but also money. Plus, our youngest boy is 8 and he would not be as comfortable going off to a camp without us. And, the way the clinic will be set
up Moms, Dads and coaches can watch and learn from Pat and Shane also.
I don't necessarily think this cruise/clinic will sell out within the next week, but I do see from the initial response I have had from KS, OK, and MO wrestling families that our allotment of staterooms on the ship will sell out.

Thanks and please let me know if I can answer anyones questions.

I would love to go but unfortunately, I will be in Fargo that week!

Thank you Randy!

We started this cruise/clinic later in the year than we would have liked to and Pat and Shane only had two weeks available and both weeks interfered with the Fargo Tournament. I have had many people call to say that they would love to go, but can't because of this.
Next year we will definitely get this scheduled away from all large tournaments.

They would not let you on the ship in my leather trench coat any way! When I'm I going to get that back?
