This past year the Kids Executive Council voted to make the Southern Plains
camp mandatory for Kansas Kids & Cadets wanting to wrestle in the
tournament. This past weekend the Executive Council held a meeting via the
Internet and decided to rescind the decision that it had passed early in February.
Because of this new vote, the camp will not be mandatory for Kansas
wrestlers wanting to wrestle in the Southern Plains Regional tournament,
which will be held in Hays on June 14-16. The Southern Plains camp will run
from June 10-13 at a cost of $150, which includes the cost of the
tournament. We will also be offering the Coaches camp from June 10-13 at a
cost of $100.
