TEAM CENTRAL DUAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

OBJECTIVE:

TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE MIDWEST’S BEST WRESTLERS TO COMPETE HEAD TO HEAD AND EXPERIENCE THE DUAL FORMAT.

ENTRY FEE: $260 Per Team ($13 per participant).

Please make checks payable to Park Hill Kids Wrestling and send them to 4305 NE 103rd Court, Kansas City, MO 64156.

Individuals who are interested in wrestling in this highly competitive event but do not have a team or if a team cannot fill a complete roster, contact Jason Keck to see if he can assist you in either filling a roster spot or placing an individual wrestler on a dual team.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, December 3, 2007
All team leaders need to have contacted Jason Keck and submitted their entry fee.

WEIGH INS: 8:00-8:30am Sunday, December 10th, 2007

Wrestlers who make weight at the Park Hill Kids Tournament on Saturday will not have to make weight on Sunday if wrestling at the same weight or above. If a wrestler decides to wrestle at a lower weight then he/she must weigh in on Sunday morning.

*Satellite weigh-in opportunities may be available for teams traveling. Please contact Jason Keck.

START TIME: Wrestling will start at 9:00 a.m.

SCORING:

Fall = 6 Team Points
Technical Fall = 5 Team Points
Major Dec. 8-14 pts = 4 Team Points
Decision 1-7 pts. = 3 Team Points
Open or Forfeit = 4 Team Points

WEIGHT CLASSES: 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170

AGE DIVISION: Open (Kid’s Divisions); No High School Wrestlers

AWARDS: T-shirts awarded to the top three team finishers.
Team Central Duals Outstanding Wrestler Award will also be selected at the conclusion of the tournament.

Bo Pursel wrestles for Team Central and has for the last 3 years, Bryce Shoemaker is also wrestling there now as well but I cannot speak for him as far as his dual team alliance.

If we had a Kansas vs. the nation dual, we would hope Bo could wrestle for us.

Bo did wrestle for KS in the Schoolboy duals and will continue to do so. Team Central has been a great place for us however. They have helped him get where he is today.

Jeremy sigler lost weight i think...last i talked to him he weighed aroung 145

Jared McComb is an 8th grader and weighs around 150. He wrestled with the Schoolboy Duals and Middle School Nationals this past year and loved the experience. He would be interested if a team is put together for this!
