Jared was there and wrestled. I was able to catch one of his matches - he didn't look quite as sharp as he usually does. If he recently injured his back that explains maybe why I thought his wrestling was a little off.
Jared McComb did sprain his back and hadn't been able to practice in weeks. But since he is an 8th grader, he knew this was his last chance to place at Tulsa Nationals. We spent a lot of time at the chiropractor and his Dr. to make sure he could try and wouldn't seriously injure himself further... He wasn't as strong or as sharp (his words) but he met his goal!
