Well the records on the website are last years results..technical problems.
Here is my best guess from looking at the rankings, I will do a deep probe tomorrow and tally a "best" rank.

1. Norton
2. Beloit
3. Smith Center
4. Scott City
5. Eureka
6. Silver Lake
7. Phillipsburg
8. Hoisington
9. Oakley
10. Stockton

That is a very rough and quick one over, I will repost tomorrow.

This will all be easier after the regionals, but for what it is worth this could be the top 20 teams at the state tourney.

1. Smith Center (edges Norton in a close one due to returning 5 placers of 3rd or better, Norton with 2 returning placers.)

2. Norton ( Depth of team always a factor could place 7 or more kids)

3. Beloit (Could benefit from regional and send a lot of kids)

4. P-burg (See Beloit)

Continued rankings.

5. Oakley (could be higher if everything falls just right)

6. Silver Lake (Will qualify several to go along with Hase as their anchor)

7. Scott City (might be higher, regional will have alot to do with this one)

8,9,10. Rossville, Garden Plain, St. Francis

11,12,13. Hoisington, Osborne, Stockton

14,15,16. Atwood,Eureka,TMP

17,18,19. Lakin,Wellsville,Hoxie

Sorry Smith Center has 5 returning placers and Norton 4, Correct me if I'm wrong. I was going off of the rankings page and it isn't quite right. Smith Center, Norton and Beloit could end up as close as last year. One pin could decide the whole thing.

Anyone have the scoop on what is going on with Beloit? I read some articles in the Salina journal and am wondering how this will affect their team at Regionals.

It is my understanding that 4 basketball players have been kicked off the b-ball team. 1 wrestler was suspended from some wrestling, but will be allowed back to wrestle. I believe that about wraps it up. Hopefully!!!

According to the Salina Journal, the principal said "five basketball players and one wrestler have been suspended for the remainder of the season."

Ok so here are the team rankings based off of Kit Harris's system of rankings..where 1st place rank gets 20pts and 2nd 18pts and so on till I finish. I have gone through the rankings and have point totals along with the ranks.
