Now we all know rankings are one thing, but who do we honestly think will end up causing an upset at state this year for the 5a and 6a brackets

i really think in the 135lb weight class bracket nelson is gonna come through and win the title again, he is gonna make a big upset out of means, so dont put all hope into him, also, i believe davis from wichita heights is gonna come through and he is gonna take the state title in 6a, i got to see his match against santiago, and it is no mistake that he will come through and take state, i didnt get to see him at city but i heard about it, and if im not mistaking he turned around and beat wilson, by a good 3 or 4 points, so keep an eye out on him

135 has the toughest top 6 in 6A.
1. Mitchell Means - GD 2. Linwood Peoples - BVNW 3. Tony Livengood - BVN 4. Chase Nelson - WH 5. Jacob Wagner - MN 6. Daniel Gonzalez - GC

i can guarantee that in 6a 119 is going to be a big upset, we have Davis creeping up the backdoor from wichita heights as well as dane rodriguez prolly wont be wrestling considering his injury, but i cant wait to see wichita heights Davis(119) upset alot of fans

i dont know, but i jus seen and heard about his matches and he looks like he can be coming up, but at state records wont even matter, chase nelson proved that, in the 6a 112 weight class, he had a record of 22-7 coming in and leaving a state champion, so you dont know what can happen, jus dont be surprised if Davis come out the backdoor and upset some people

Madl, Lawrence, and Barber will definitely be in the mix for the top podium spot in 6A 119 bracket. Good luck to all of them!

Nelson is good, but I believe Means is better. It would truly be and upset, in my opinion, if Nelson manages to win over Means.

Does anyone know about the lower division champs from last year. I am aware of the manhattan kid at 103. He is still undefeated. I know the junction city gives him a really good run everytime they meet. What about the rest of the 103's in the 6A bracket? I.E. 112's, 119's. How many state champions and 2nd state placers are returning?
