I know Duane Zlatnik, 285er from Rossville is planning on making the trip.

If you are a qualifier who would really like to wrestle in college then you should attend this event. Wrestlers over the years have been recruited on scholarships from wrestling in this tournament. There is a day to visit with coaches and get information, and there are a lot of schools that come HERE to watch and get kids to fill their rosters.

Wrestlers such as Olathe North's Josh Carroll (Appalachian State), St. Francis's Kelly Gable (Oklahoma State) to a recent St. Thomas Aquinas's Andy Hurla (Lindenwood)- this event has helped provide scholorships to deserving athletes who really belong wrestling somewhere from NJCAA to NCAA DI.

If anyone else knows someone who has gotten a scholorship invitation based on this tournament please list it in this thread.

That 189 bracket would be worth the trip alone. I sure hope Perry (OK), Haynes (MO), Schmidtke (WA) and Cotton are in it.

Chris Perry from Stillwater, Oklahoma will not be attending as he is a Junior.

Actually, I heard that he will be attending, but not wrestling.
