Thanks for posting this. This is what I enjoy most about this sport, I had a chance to meet this family last year at Brute Nationals. My son was in the same bracket as Alex the 8th grader. What an amazing wrestler and class act, I am not sure if Ryan the boy from the article wrestled or not . I know Wagner had a whole team there so I would assume he was there. My son and I were wondering how Alex had done this year, he had an amazing 7th grade year placing 4th at High School state and winning Brute, whipping my son in the semis and leaving him behind to take third. Going on to win H.S state as an 8th grader with all that family went through ,can you say five timer... I hope they attend Brute again this year,so everyone can meet this family, they are dedicated to the sport and very much a class act. It would be impossible not to cheer for this boy!
