Woofter Wrestling Summer Wrestling Camp of ChampionsJuly 7th thru 10thSpring Hill is offering an affordable opportunity to improve upon your wrestling fundamentals. There are many quality summer wrestling camps that bring in a big name wrestler to demonstrate specific technique. However, this is NOT that kind of camp. Spring Hill will draw a unique blend of coaches with a variety of different backgrounds with the intentions to provide athletes with an emphasis on fundamentals. The main goal is to recruit great coaches who want to work with individuals looking to better themselves in the off season. Last summer there were more than 80 individuals represented at camp from all over the state of Kansas
The camp will be offered to athletes entering the 7th grade—12th grade. This camp will last a total of 4 days. The first three days of camp the wrestlers will have two practices a day. The first practice of the day will stress the technical phase of the sport. The second phase will emphasis the importance of quality drill work, training and live wrestling. Upon the last day of camp, wrestlers will be split into brackets and wrestle in a takedown tournament. This is a fun way to showcase technique learned in camp and stay competitive in the summer
