Little things in the scope of life to promote the sport.


I was glad to purchase the punch card and not have to fill in the bracket by hand. But then to take the updated brackets down from the wall was el cheapo by the KSHAAS. I doubt they made as munch money as they lost in good will.

I may have missed it, but not once was a team score announced during the tournament. We all knew BC was going to win, but there was a great race for 2nd and 3rd during the finals.

It would have been exciting to have the scores posted and announced.

I thought the same thing about the team scores. I kept waiting for them to be announced since they were not posted anywhere. Oh well, good thing my husband is a coach so I could look at the sheets they received each round.

At 4A, they announced team score updates after every finals match. They would say things like "with the win Team A now has x amount of points and is in whatever place." Just another great thing about 4A state in Salina!

Updated team scores would be nice. We get them at almost ever other tournament. It helps coaches motivate and inform the kids and lets the guys know how they are doing immediately. I hope they add it in next year.
