I would like to use this forum to voice my dissatisfaction of the Sunflower wrestling vendor @the Derby District Championships. First Thank you Derby Wrestling club for putting these championships on I know it must be a headache. As for the Sunflower wrestling vendor, Ibelieve his name was Nat or Nathan, I was very dissappointed, We arrived for the afternoon session and they were OUT or District championship t-shirts so we bought a different shirt to support their buisness, my son was told he could bring back his shirt after he was finished to put on the State Qualifier and placing when he was finished. My son finished and he tells us he had shut down, with ALOT of wrestling still going on in the gym. Now why would aomeone running a buisness and wanting to make money shut down early when they had told kids and parents to come back and receive their placing's. If this was the same group a Mulvane the week before I am sorry you went from a Class act at Mulvane to not really caring at Derby If this is not the some group at Mulvane cudoos to who ever it was. I know I am not the only one that was turned off my sunflower wrestling and I am sure there are those were got satisfaction, I am just voicing my unhappiness and what took place.

Jim, the t-shirt vendor's at Mulvane and Derby were not the same vendor's. The Teeshirtman was at Mulvane. I also want to say that I was not pleased with Sunflower, I had a son finish second in the district tournament and one finish 1st in the 6 and under championships and couldn't get a tournament shirt either. I had to buy a 14-16 size shirt for a boy that wears a 6-8. We tried to buy them at noon and they were already gone. You would think they have done enough tournaments to know what they are gonna need. All I can say is, I know Sunflower is doing the State Tournament, so if you want a Tournament shirt you better buy it early.

even though you are right about selling out of smaller sizes, let's give him some credit, when we went to his table it was about 1130 or so and he was verey busy, with at least 8-10 people waiting for a shirt with one guy busting his rump to get them done as fast as possible,I appreciated his hard work, and though dissappointed with the distict 2 sizes being limited,Im sure he was not the one who ordered the numbers and sizes,so give him a little credit for busting tail to assure every one was being helped quickly and point the blame at sunflower management

Im not pointing the blame at the guy at the table. Your right, it's not his fault, I know he was very busy. I just think they should know how many shirt's to order for a tournament by now.

I am sure the man was working very hard and again we got there and they were out of EVERYTHING, but on top of everything else the guy sut down while there was still wrestling going on so the kids that did qualify and place couldnt even get the recoginition on the shirts they did buy. as far as State t-shirts we wont be buying.

I agree they blew a chance to sell some shirts at the tournament, but I think people could let that slide if Sunflower made it possible to buy them now at a discounted price.
