I would just like to say that there is a young man who wrestles 10&under 90lbs from pratt I believe his name is Spencer who every kid in wrestling should watch. This young man shows great sportsmanship win or lose. My son wrestled Spencer the last to weekends and they were both very good matches. They wrestled at sub's for 1st and went into overtime at 0-0. My son won and Spencer gave him a hug and did not act mad, throw anything, stomp of the mat or nothing. I have never seen such a nice kid. Heck even my own son does not take losing that gracefully. I just wanted to give kudo's to Spencer, and his parents for raising such a nice young man. I hope he can be an example to all wrestlers that win or lose be a good sport about it

That is so refreshing to hear. Today at 6U 46 I saw a boy who got pinned throw his headgear before the final handshake and then he laid on the side of the mat kicking and screaming. The coaches just walked away and left him matside throwing his temper tantrum. I realize 6 and under are small emotional kids, but we all have a responsiblity to instill the idea of good sportsmanship win or lose. It is nice to hear the other side of the coin.

I heard Boo D. showed great sportsmanship in match yesterday at subs. in the finals. Kudo's to him too.
