I can't say that I knew his name, but always respected him as an intense, but classy, coach. Always a good sport, win or lose, and well respected. I can see how a guy like him can get a kid to wrestle hard for him. He really seemed like a great coach and I am sure that he will be sorely missed at Winfield and across the wrestling community. You can tell a coach that the kids really respect, and he was one of them.

Sad times we live in when a dispute is worth killing someone over.

Condolences from the Brawlers.........

From the Winfield Wrestling Club, we appreciate all your concerens and prayers for Kiyon and his family. He was a great, great guy. I'm thankful that I had the pleasure to know him, become friends, and coach along side of him. He meant alot to our family and the Winfield community.

If you would like to post your condolences, you can do so by going to www.winfieldwrestlingclub.com.

I was just talking to Kiyon on Saturday at the JOC, this is tragic. He was a great guy and very enthusiastic about the sport and life. He will be missed.

Darick always looked forward to wrestling any Winfield kid because he enjoyed Kiyon. I didn't know him that well, but he seemed to have a good repore with the kids that he coached and the parents. Kiyon will be missed!
