Anyone interested in trying out pwa is encouraged to take advantage of a one month free trial during the month of January. Sessions are on Wed from 6:45-9pm at Cokeleys. You MUST contact Tony first before attending. Offer good through January only. Offer does not apply for past or current pwa members. Kids must have one year of experience, and be focused and serious about wrestling. Our hope is to get serious kids into the room who may have heard of purler, but have been apprehensive about trying out the program. Again, space is limited, so you must contact Tony prior to attending. thank you, hope to see some new faces next week. Tony Purler www.tonypurler.comtony@purlerwrestling.com 816-304-0313

I just wanted to put in a plug for Tony's program. My son joined last year (almost exactly a year ago). Since then he has placed at state and in a national tournament. My son love's the atmosphere in the room and enjoys Tony's demeanor. And as an individual Tony is honest and sincere…a coach the boys can respect and emulate. I highly recommend this program for kids who are serious about becoming better individuals and wrestlers.

My sons have been going to Tony for a little over a year now & have made huge gains. Tony is great with the kids & does not teach 100 different moves that wont work on good wrestlers. He teaches how to deal with situations that happen in every match. If your looking for something to take your wrestler to the next level this is it. I have always felt I got my moneys worth.

This is my son's 3rd season wrestling and he started with Tony a little over a year ago. The instruction along with the high-caliber-serious wrestler's that Tony draws to his room have greatly improved my son's performance. He is now a National Placer. I would recommend his program to anyone who is serious about the sport and ready for the next level.

This is my son's 5th year wrestling and he started with Tony last March. He never really got into the sport or wanted to take it more serious until he met Tony. Tony is very professional and always draws great partners to his workouts. He has always been there any time my son has asked a question or needed help. I never feel like we leave a practice without getting our moneys worth. I would recommend this for everyone from the beginner wanting to get to state to the champion just wanting to get better.

My son has not been wrestling a long time, but since he has been working with Tony, there have been tremendous improvements!!! My son has a great respect for Tony and his teammates. Since he joined about 6 months ago, my son has placed in a national tournament!
I recommend the academy to all wrestlers that have the desire and determination to be a CHAMPION!!!

Jon's been wrestling for six years and is 9yrs old. Started out very slow enjoying wrestling but not doing very well 1 1/2 years under Tony and he has a love and drive for this sport like i've never seen in an 9 year old. I reccomend it to everyone. Each move he teaches leads to another move which makes for a very good wrestling flow and makes sense to the wrestler. Try it and you'll love it.
Jon Trowbridge Ive never had the fear of getting beat thats how most people lose.

My son is 12 years old and has been wrestling for 7 years. He started going to Tony's workout at Cokeley's in October. Since that time he's significantly improved his ability to attack and finish takedowns. Tony's coaching style is very well recieved by the boys in his practices- every boy in the room knows that they are there for business and what Tony expects. He has very high standards and expects the boys to practice and perform to them. There's no fluff, just the basics. The proof that Tony's methodology works is shown in how my son wrestles now- he's far more confident, he knows he's got good technique, and he's far more aggressive than before.

My son is Jaret Singh and when he first started wrestling he wanted to be just like the big boys in our youth club. I'm not sure how far he would be if it weren't for Tony. He has brought him so far and never gave up on the crying little boy that started 6 years ago. He is more than a coach. He is a mentor for our kids. When your son brings home a paper on who his hero is in life and it's about his coach (Tony) then you know they are good at what they do. I truly believe in Tony's program and what he does. We are lucky to have such a talented coach in our area!!!

Also, our 7th annual Takedown Machine summer camp dates are set. We've been in the same location for 7 years, and it has filled up the past 6 straight. Kids and teams from all over the U.S. attend, from beginners to the best kids in the U.S. Just 45 wrestlers per group, as opposed to 300 found in a typical University camp. With teams coming in now, some weeks do fill up quick. Lastly, we encourage all parents to watch the last 2 hour session of the camp, as we will intensely drill the kids on all the skills covered from the previous 5 days. I don't think there's another camp in the country that would advertise this, but we've been doing it for 6 years now, and are confident your son will remember, and retain, all the skills covered. All info and online registrations can be found on Nick Purler's web site, www.purlerwrestling.com . Thanks

Assess your wrestler's goals, if he wants to be a champion and a great technician it is going to take lots of practice. If you have club practice and you are hitting some elite live sessions that is awesome. However if you are not going to one of Tony or Nick Purler's weeknight sessions you are missing a key ingredient to becoming great. Tony is GREAT with kids and his drilling sessions are incredible. My boys attend his weeknight sessions, his camps and have greatly improved because of them. DON'T PASS ON THIS OPPORTUNITY! See you at THE BARN!

Highly recommend Tony Purler program to any wrestler that wanted to improve their wrestling skills. Tony is one of the major reasons that Dustin has developed the skills he has on the mat. This is a great opportunity for any wrestler to develop the skills he needs to advance to the next level.

I would highly recommend Tony for any wrestler that wants to become the best he can be. Tony teaches solid technique that enables the wrestler to win tough matches and will be effective at every level of wrestling from youth through high school and college.
My oldest son started with Tony years ago when Tony first started his program. He was a decent wrestler at the time but Tony helped him get to the next level both in both technique and the mental side of wrestling. He is now a Senior in high school, is a 3-time high school state champ (going for #4 this year) and will be wrestling for Stanford next year. This would not have been possible without Tony's help and most of his style and wrestling philosophy comes directly from Tony.
Give it a try and you will be amazed at the difference in your wrestler.
