-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was there and I expect Alan to come back and do his thing, but Cody has gotten better over the last year. There was a lot of excitement in the room though.

We went last night since Bo has wrestled with the Park Hill kids for years and it was an awesome dual! It was the best example of why Kansas might look at some rule changes to highlight the weekday dual. The fans were crazy!!! It was BEST dual atmosphere that I have ever been to. I would guess there was about 750 people there!

I don't understand what rule changes are needed to make weekday duals better. The duals I attend here in southcentral are as good as any I've seen in 30 years of wrestling. If you put two good teams/programs on the mat the fans will turn out and are vocal.

Sportsfan - I agree somewhat. There are some great duals happening, but they are fewer and farther between. The points system in place is pushing the trend to all/most tournaments, and weekend dual tournaments. The teams that dual alot are a minority, compared to the teams that do not. As coaches look to get their kids the most matches and mat time possible the duals are getting a back seat. That is all I was saying. The rules do not prohibit weekday duals, I was just looking for something to promote them.
