Nice little factoid there Naasz...but where in this little overview of the Beloit regional is my DQ coupon? I believe that both you and Malay owe me a double-cheese, and I'll need extra ice cream to sit on after the LONG drive to Beloit!

You will get your DQ, we can go during finals. Does that make you happier, something to look forward too for us.

Tate is from Ell-Saline...they coop with Minneapolis for wrestling, but he will represent Ell-Saline at Regionals and State.

What are the Kansas rules on co-oping with other schools? Specifically, student attends school that does not have wrestling but a nearby school does. Is it up to the administration of each school to allow or not allow the student to co-op or where does that decision making resposibility fall?

I know at some schools like for coop teams in team sports (football, softball, baseball) they sign generally a two year contract between each school so the other school guarantees there will be athletes for those years and they split the funding for the team by percentage I believe. For some schools that coop in wrestling they require a certain number of wrestlers go out for the team before they will coop. Also, only one school can coop with another.

Talk to Naasz and Malay, their the ones who owe me ice cream from the last three Beloit tourneys, Malay is a welcher an that is the problem. He always eats it before he gets back to us at the tourney, it is only about 1/2 a mile from DQ to the high school. But Malay has a soft spot for a chocolate dipped cone, he dreams about them, along with a nightmare of getting his beard caught in the door of the Beloit bus as it drives away. An Powers I believe that with the current economic situation that you(larger income)should buy me ice cream!

One more practice and one more day till the feild will be weighed, measured, and for some found wanting, for others it will be a glorious prequel to greater glory. Best of luck to all and prepare for the worst/hope for the best!

Nice quote from "A Knight's Tale.” The only movie set in medieval times and still has a sweet soundtrack with “We Will Rock You” and “Low Rider” along with a host of other songs that would not be played in this time period.

Nice to see a movie buff like myself catching a quote, I like to add them into conversation as much as possible. As I see that by your avatar and name that you like to go off on people like a spider-monkey an prolly drink massive amounts of Mt. Dew. Yes, that just happened! Shake-n-bake....

At least I got that going for me, which is nice!

Well since my races tend to be three hours or more I try to watch a movie or two on my steering wheel LCD screen DVD player.
