Javier Vieyra, sophmore at Salina South High School will be wrestling 103 lb. this year for the Cougars. Qualified for State as a freshman. Placed in numerous Freestyle & Greco tourneys this summer. Including gaining "ALL AMERICAN" status at Fargo,N.D., placing 6th in Freestyle..

SIX days till the pre-season All-Class rankings release! All info on weights is appreciated. I have heard from over 50 coaches and many wrestlers and parents. Thanks for the help!

They will be the 3rd Annual All-Class Rankings in Kansas. Wrestlers will be ranked by their ANTICIPATED weights. As with any ranking system they are just my opinion, arrived at through MANY hours of research.
Many factors are considered (Not always in this order):
1. State bracket performance.
2. Performance at prestigious national folkstyle tournaments.
3. National FS/GR success.
4. Information from Coaches and Parents.
5. Competition that the wrestler has faced.
I plan to list the Top Ten wrestlers at each weight class. As soon as they are posted, I would be glad to consider any input!
IMPORTANT:
The input must include criteria! Asking, "Why is this guy above that guy" or saying, "I can't believe you have that guy ranked" is not criteria. Just state your evidence and if found substanative, I will change it. Also remember that we are still over six weeks away from the first whistle so a lot can change and surely will.
If all goes well, I should post them by Friday morning. If you have any information about expected weights or rankable wrestlers, please let me know.
