Alot of the kids mentioned in the top guns for 10U are moving up from 8U. Who will the be the top guns or kids to look for in 8U.

58-64 I would say Darryl Rylant and DuWayne Villalpando are top guns at this weight class

I like Brycen Schroeder at the mid to low 60's and Jackson Hartley High 60's Low 70's

I would guess Hartley to be in the mid 70's he wrestled 67 last year at state.

Dylan has gained 6 pounds in the last month hopefully he can wrestle 76 but would not surprise me at all if he ends up at 80.

time will tell......

My guess is that Brycen will be at 67 . . . not sure he can make 64.

keep an eye on Fisher 67 and Bockover 70 from Kansas Young Guns. change of scenery and have been working out a little bit this summer. could surprise some kids this year.

Scott those boys will not surprise me I expect Brady to be in the top 6 somewhere and would bet Fisher has a great shot to win it all. Here are some kids to watch for at 67 and above along with results from last year.

lets just wait until november. in november we will see who wants to contend due to the nationals that have been wrestled by then. I am sure that there will be some that move up and some that move down. Its october and few have hit the mat yet.

you mean your not supposed to be wrestling year round by age 8. hmmmmmmmmmm nobody told me that. i just thought we were doing what everyone else was doing.

Don't forget about Kade Miller from Osborne at I would guess prob 76 or 80. Watched him at state last year at 67 and was very impressed. Very quick kid. Looked at brackets and looks like he went 2-2 and didn't place but do know that he will still be at 8 and under this year.

Quinton Hicks will win state at either 95 or 100. He placed 4th last year at 88. Definitely one of the best young guns in the state.

Luke will try to be @ 70 by the march & april.This year I watched Brycen,Jack,Troy,Brady and Dylan they all look very good.

That makes 4 out of that 67 bracket to watch this year with Newton, Fisher, and Hartley all still 8U as well.

That is a bold statement to make in early December. I am sure there are some quality opponents out there for him.

Quinton is a very impressive wresler.
I think he will definately be towards the top!
To claim state champ in Dec. is gutsy!
