ERIE, Pa. - The Newberry College wrestling team stayed atop Super Region I with the No. 1 ranking in the newest edition of the NCAA Division II Super Region I poll, released today. The poll also features seven Newberry wrestlers individually ranked.

Newberry (16-4) keeps the top spot for the seventh straight edition after picking up three wins over Belmont Abbey, Limestone and UNC Pembroke since the February 1 edition of the rankings

Curtis Chenoweth (Clearwater, Kan.) retains the No. 2 spot at 174 lbs. Chenoweth went 4-1 since February 1 with a 2-0 record at the Spartanburg Methodist Open on February 6 and wins against Belmont Abbey and Limestone. Chenoweth has a 23-11 record for the year.

You bet! Yes it is very hard!! Anxiously awaiting Nat'ls in Omaha!! It'll be the only time I will actually see him wrestle in person! They do sometimes show live webcast, but like last night depending on where it is sometimes just live stats. You can go to Newberry.edu and go to the wrestling and click on the pic that starts talking about it, it'll either give you the site for the live stats or instructions on how to view the video!
