Is it too early to start a fun topic on where to stay and eat while in Omaha?

We've been traveling there regularly for 2 years and just found our all time favorite breakfast place. Farmhouse Cafe -cinnamon rolls to die for. We can't wait to try lunch or dinner.

A favorite dinner place for our son and his friends is the Spaghetti Works in the Old Market. I'm not saying it is great Italian, but it is good, a fun place, reasonably priced and several dishes are all-you-can-eat. What else does a college student or their parent need?

I would also like to find some good eats for Omaha! Never been there except to drive straight thru!

Lou Ann have you tried La Sole mio yet?--the real Italian thing, great food, family owned

My families favorites in our old home town:

Ted and Wallys for ice cream,,in the old market area,,had a guiness milk shake there once--great ice cream

For pizza Big Freds on pacific,,,,get the onion rings too

Burgers--King Kong,, one by the zoo/stadium and one on dodge

Tons of others, a great mix of food in the area
