You are a real special "man" coming over to make your mocking gesture over my son Connor after the match while he was sitting on the ground upset that he had lost in OT to your wrestler. It must feel good to pick on twelve year olds. Enjoy the win.

Well congrats to you for not reacting. Everytime I see something like this happen I have a hard time keeping mouth shut. I am normally pretty passive but when I see an adult mock or try to intimidate another wrestler its hard. I'm curious was he as cocky when his wrestler was pinned in the quarters?

I would like to know exactly which plainville coach you are referring to???? I am the father and the coach of the plainville boy being discussed, Trever Houser. The only comment or gesture that I made was to your son that it was one heck of a good match. To husker 44......you obviously don't know either me or my son as we are as far from cocky as you can get!!!! Yes Trever did get pinned in the quarters, that happens when you come up against one of the best and get caught the 2nd match of the day. Trever worked his behind off coming up the back side of the bracket.

It must be the other coach that was on the mat. If it was you, I'm sure that you would know this was directed at you because Connor's older brother called out the coach in question at the time about his mocking gesture. I hope from my original posting you can see that this was not to take anything away from what Trever accomplished this weekend, placing third in this bracket was an accomplishment, and I also agree pointing out about how he got pinned was uncalled for. This was directed specifically at one coaches action towards a twelve year old child and nothing more. Congratulations to Trever's placing and good luck to him in the future.

You are absolutely right! I don’t know you or your son. I wasn’t even involved in the situation so I really shouldn’t have commented at all. I apologize for my comment and will never again comment without knowing the details. It was hypocritical of me to comment about a situation like this and then add idiotic statement like I did. Again I know I made a mistake and I am sorry.

I was told by T Houser that this comment was on here and I want to appologize to anybody whom may have been offended by the actions of any of our coaches. I was definately not the person involved but am the so called head coach of our kids program. I am embarrassed that any of our coaches or kids would act out in such a way and we try our best to teach good sportsmanship to all of our kids and I am truly sorry if a parent or coach acted like a fool. I will have a talk with the coaches and make sure that this kind of thing never happens again. Dan Wessel
