Quite a relaxed "fun" tournament with kids from all over the nation.... & some good clinic presentations.

Great deal of Kansas kids participating and in the finals with some great competition. Best of luck to all in the finals tomorrow!

One to think about for next year!

BTW, we're staying @ the Westin Crown Center $56/night priceline--beautiful facilities/view...+ free transportation right in front of the venue! smile

We had a blast also. Won our 3rd place match, but didn't get a deal like that on a hotel. Paid for a Days INN for $54.00 but drove 10 minutes. I can deal with that.

BTW the singlets were awesome.

It was much better then years past.
Got a very cool singlet and a very nice backpack. We had five different states in our bracket and we had to beat the Arkansas 12U 105 pound state champ in the finals.

Btw
We stayed at the Same hotel chain as we did for state and the three nights this weekend cost the same as one night for state.

The rooms were just as nice and there was actually more stuff for the kids to do. I guess no one told them wrestling was in town so they didn't raise the prices. LOL

I have to agree and say we had another good time at Brute. I didn't care for the $60 coaches band but in the end it was worth it. Had some good matches and the boy made more friends at the fun festival. Heard lots of KS kids' names being announced as most outstanding wrestler.

I hope this is the Cameron Miller that is going to Fremont, NE for the Elementary Duals. Iowa is where the Middle School Duals are wrestled.
