I have been looking back and maybe it is just based on recent outcomes at National Tournaments (Sr. Nationals, Fargo, College and so on), but the 3xers list is pretty impressive I would say.
Just some names that won it 'only' 3 times:
Atticus Disney, Danny Grater, Ross Taplin, Jeff Boyle, Cody Garcia, Paulie Hansen, Brett Bahe, Luke Metzler, Tommy Edgmon, Andrew Ubben, Duane Zlatnick, Jordan Bedore, Earl Jones, Frank Jonas, Jason Pyle, Jake Klein Austin Devoe, Doug Hoover, Wes Harding, Eric Koehler, Levi Younkin, Justin Dyer
I am sure I missed more, but does anybody have post high school career stats on these guys? I know some are just getting started, but compared to the 4x Champs we have some great achievements I would think.
Enlighten Me!

Wow. How did I miss those 2?! I am thinking the 3timers may have the nod on better post high school accolades.

That list is up through 2001. I don't have the rest with me. I think the 3xers as a whole have something left to prove or so it appears. Only 3 4xers have NCAA D1 AAed.

I know that 2 of the 3Xers from Clay Center (Pfizenmaier, Grater) have 5 AA's to their credit between them in Division II.

I had the data for the state championships but all the post high school stuff I listed was off the top of my head. It would be great to have a site that listed all of our wrestler's post high school major accomplishments. Heck just to wrestle beyond HS is a major commitment. If I could I would list every college these guys attended and then do a two timer list as well. Any help like Brandon's would be greatly appreciated. (Where did Pfizenmaier wrestle?)

Scotty Goodale was a D2 National Champion. Alan Hankins was a D2 Runner-up. Both from Ark City.

Scott Coleman was "only" a 3 timer, but he was a high school national champion and All-American at Iowa State.
The fact that girls are forced to wrestle at state in the middle of the week is laughably sexist.

maybe there's something to the post about 4 time champs, and post high school success.
Joe Renfro Jon White Joe Johnston Shawn Bunch Jason Soloman? are a few off the top of my head who arguably had more success in college, with out all the championships in high school.
